Text Blog Post Entry Six - Domestic News Paper Headlines

I came across this article in stuff.co.nz which I found quite hard. It's about the Construction of Transmission Gully is which has been delayed; as a result, the government should pay extra $2million a week. Many taxpayers claimed that their money was being wasted as the Gully project was delayed. Transmission Gully is important for the Wellington region's economic growth, but now it is like having the Berlin Wall. A manager of transit Wellington regional said the latest of transmission gully costing is $984 million compared to $100million a year at the beginning. Mr. McDavitt granted that NZ’s major works process was slow. A transport project which took seven years from beginning to finishing in NZ would take only two years in Australia.
